What Interests You?

music.of.interest is a research tool designed to help you remember and explore new music.

I created music.of.interest as a way of keeping track of bands that piqued my interest while listening to streaming radio (kexp.org rocks!). Instead of writing down names on my whiteboard (which did me no good when I got home and had time to explore them), I created this web site.

music.of.interest is composed of two parts: a bookmarklet and this web site. When you hear something of interest, you can use the bookmarklet to save the artists name and perhaps a track title. You can later login to the web site and get a list of the items you saved. You can then use the resources at music.of.interest to explore your items, find music, create playlists, and recommend them to friends.

To get started, create yourself an account, install the bookmarklet on your browser toolbar, and start exploring!
